Seth Shostak from the SETI Institute, Darlene Lim from NASA, A.C. Charania from Virgin Galactic, David Pescovitz from Boing Boing, Timoni West from Unity, and others will be speaking at Dent: Space at the Innovation Hangar in San Francisco, CA on September 21st and 22nd.

Dent: Space will connect government agencies with private space industry players and non-industry engineers to encourage connections, innovation, and entrepreneurship as we explore the possibilities of commercial space exploration.

Dent: Space will offer up most of the available room in Exploration Hall to companies, engineers, and hackers to show off their work. Anyone can apply for a demo table – for $15 each – using the online form here.

With a capacity of 2,500 people, Dent: Space will also be offering 1,000 registrations for free. “There’s so much space-age technology innovation and creativity going on at home these days,” said Jason Preston, Dent co-founder, “that it wouldn’t make any sense to leave it out of this conversation.”

“I think you’re going to see the space community instead of just NASA, and I’m excited about that,” said NASA Astronaut Cady Coleman, who spoke at Dent’s flagship conference in Sun Valley, ID this past March 22nd. The video of that talk is available online here.

Dent was first launched as a leadership conference dedicated to exploring the magic and science of visionary leadership and groundbreaking success, where co-founders Steve Broback and Jason Preston have hosted talks with major leaders on the front lines of science and technology, ranging from Pixar co-founder Alvy Ray Smith to Indiegogo co-founder Danae Ringelmann.

Dent: Space will feature two days of keynote and panel sessions on two stages, and thousands of square feet dedicated to unique experiences and technology demos.

Taking place in The Innovation Hangar in San Francisco at the Palace of Fine Arts, Dent: Space will be more hands-on than ever. There will be two stages; the Main Stage and the Theater Stage, as well as an Exploration Hall where attendees can explore space-age technologies created by visionaries ranging from industry professionals to home enthusiasts.
