Nelly Ben Hayoun will create a space for thoughts, debate and provocation around the sociological, political and critical impact of new technologies in space exploration. She will define her design work and practice as a Designer of Experiences and demonstrate how the human condition can prevail over technology. In this passionate keynote, she will share the complexity and production systems of her large scale projects, The International Space Orchestra, an orchestra of space scientist musicians, and Disaster Playground, a feature film on the real-life procedures in place in the event of an asteroid collision with the earth. Ben Hayoun will also talk about her next expedition involving vikings, underwater exploration and outer space colonization.
