NASA is committed to advancing the capabilities to send humans into deep space while at the same time stimulating a robust space economy expanding outward from home. These complementary and parallel efforts are made possible in part by new and innovative public-private partnerships in which the NASA shares the costs for large-scale hardware development with private industry, allowing enterprising corporations to maintain ownership of new space systems and provide on-demand access to these capabilities under commercial-like arrangements for NASA and other customers. In this session, you’ll learn how NASA is changing the way it conducts it’s mission to help drive a new economy off of Earth for U.S. industry.
